APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Thank you for your interest in Ramsay IB High School!  

 

Applications must be completed on the Birmingham City Schools website.

 

All interested students are encouraged to apply, but only those students who meet the criteria listed below will be considered for admission into the IB program at Ramsay.

 

• Current 10th grade student;

• Pre-requisite courses:  Algebra II with Trig and at least one year of the same foreign language (Spanish or French)

• 3.0 GPA;

• Online application completed by the deadline (Jan. 15, 2016);

• Official school transcript (sealed);

• Two teacher recommendations from academic teachers;

• Essay and interview.
